TryCam

Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

TryCam is a live virtual try-on app made by Tianjin Ace Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Co., Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who processes it for us, and how you can delete it.

The short version. During a try-on, your camera video and the clothing photo you picked are sent live to our AI partner, Decart, to create the try-on picture. We don't store your camera video on our servers. Your saved looks stay on your iPhone. We don't show ads, we don't use tracking or analytics tools, and we don't sell your data. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

What we collect and why

Your account

When you first open TryCam we create an anonymous account with a random ID, so the app can keep track of the looks you have. If you sign in with Apple (required before your first purchase, so your looks follow you to a new phone), we receive the identifier Apple creates for TryCam. We don't ask Apple for your name or email address.

Looks and purchases

We keep a record of the looks you have and use: when each try-on started and ended, how long the live picture ran, how it ended, and which AI model was used. For purchases we keep the product, Apple's transaction ID, whether it was a test purchase, and when a TryCam Plus period ends. We use this to give you the looks you paid for, to return looks when a try-on fails, and to prevent abuse. Payment itself is handled by Apple; we never see your card or payment details.

Camera video during a try-on

Only while a try-on is running (up to 15 seconds), the app streams your camera video to Decart, which returns the live try-on picture. We don't record or store this stream on our servers. If you choose to keep a look, the video or photo is saved on your iPhone only; it leaves your phone only if you share it or save it to your photo library. Before your first try-on, the app tells you this and asks for your consent.

Clothing photos

The app shows the photos in your library so you can pick clothes. Your library is not uploaded. When a try-on starts, the clothing photo you picked is resized on your iPhone and sent to Decart as the reference for the outfit. Copies of the clothing photos used in a saved look are kept on your iPhone with that look.

Technical information

When the app connects to our servers or to our service providers, their systems receive your IP address and basic information about the request, as any internet service does. This is used to run the service and keep it secure.

Who processes your data

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We don't share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, looks and purchase records until you delete your account. Logs kept by our service providers are deleted on their own schedules.

Deleting your account

In TryCam, open Your account → Delete account. This deletes your account and all its records from our servers, deletes your customer record at RevenueCat, revokes TryCam's Sign in with Apple access, and removes the saved looks stored in the app on that iPhone. Looks you had left are lost and can't be restored. An active TryCam Plus subscription is billed by Apple until you cancel it in your iPhone's Settings.

You can also email support@trycam.app to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it.

Children

TryCam is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used TryCam, contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects how your camera video or clothing photos are handled, we will also tell you in the app.
